Great news!

I would always be careful with first suspects though. There is a lot of pressure to find someone guilty and as long they havent been questioned I would be careful in judging too quickly. So far its all just based on pictures and 2 guys having a backpack.

If it really proves it was them, I'm last one holding ppl back skinning them alive!

its not a video, its a compilation of rapidly taken still pictures, forget the photographer. He just held the shutter button down after the explosion.

The gif made from the photo series breaks my heart. Poor girl was fully aware of what happened (well, that something was terribly wrong). I certainly hope and wish she died quickly. Hell, I hope all three victims did.

The perpetrators? There's not enough time in the world to hold their suffering, as far as I'm concerned.

ah ok thanks. that explains why she was probably screaming like crazy and then went out, almost like her body bypassed the shock stage like jeff was in and knew it was the end. like someone above said, sadly, it doesn't look like she went easy, more like terrified and next thing she knows its all over.

To expand on my last post above...

We've all seen clips on here, of people who are very much alive one minute, then dead the next. I think what bothers me most, about this type of clip, is that in the cartel and mujahideen clips, you know their victims probably expect to die. These poor people never expected this. On top of that, she didn't realize she WAS dying, at that moment, when she was lying on the ground, screaming.

Fuckers. I hope the ones who did this ROT! I don't give a flying fuck if they were white, brown, green, American, Saudi or from wherever.

(I also realize I have to qualify my statement with this: We never get to see the IMMEDIATE after effects of bombings in Iraq, et al, I have no doubt that we would see similar images, were there security cameras and press already on scene, prior. I don't feel worse about this, because she was an American. I would feel just as bad if I saw some Iraqi girl, with the same look of terror on her face, screaming for help that couldn't be of any benefit. I feel bad because we're seeing the very last moments of a completely innocent person, who is in terrible shock and pain, and, again, she just doesn't know she's already dead. I dunno... to me that's 17 different kinds of fucked up.)

So what does everyone think? Foreign? Domestic? Did they act alone? I'm hoping over the next few days they'll release more updated pictures. The FBI supposedly have the video/pictures of the 2nd suspect placing the bag down and leaving it there.. they also have his reaction on film from when it went off but won't elaborate?

Here are a couple more from a local boston news station. They were actually showing this first photo before the FBI news conference. They said the picture was sent in by a viewer and they verified it with sources before posting it on their website. You can see his bookbag is left by itself on the bottom of the screen.. then the 2nd photo - same bag.

oh and the reason the faces are blurred in that photo above is because those are confirmed as some of the victims.. and they have the "after" photo as well.
