I agree. If you make click to make the pic large and solo, you can see that the foot is under her against the barrier. In the pulse check photo, the shoe is the same and it's also up under her, just a little more as she rolled down.

It'd be possible, even likely she was still alive in the photo with the barrier up. There was still smoke and chaos going around so it's probably within a minute or two from the bomb and since it was her legs that caused blood loss, she had to bleed out and would have been alive for a few minutes.

If you look at both the barrier photo and the pulse one, you can see the same blue circle/disk - at the same spot from her head. Also, the woman at her head has the same white/light blue jacket on the arm that can be seen in both.

I was also thinking that she bled out and that probably didn't happen immediately. If she died instantly I would've expected to see more trauma to her torso/head and there is no indication of that.
