Re: Boston Marathon Explosion Pictures & Video
In post #302 here, the 3rd pic down... his head might be in the picture. You see Jeff (guy with bone sticking out) and look past his hair... there is what looks like a small human had resting upright on the neck. Looks like head with hair profile from the side. |

Re: Boston Marathon Explosion Pictures & Video
It looks more like she is in a spooning position behind and facing her friend who is facing away from her and has her arm around her friend's waist. I definitely don't see any indication that anyone is cradling her. |

My mistake, on closer inspection i see her up against the wood barrier, on my initial look, it appeared as if the two women were in the background, you'll notice that there is also a blonde woman in the background being held by another dark haired woman in black, i believed those two to be the women we are addressing

Re: Boston Marathon Explosion Pictures & Video
You can see Krystle's foot is on the outside of the fencing in the picture where she appears to be alive, then in the picture of her pulse being checked her leg is in a different position(probably due to them pulling the fence away). Maybe an artery was severed or unpinched when the fence was moved |

Re: Boston Marathon Explosion Pictures & Video
I don't think she was still alive. Comparing the photos there is a barricade that was moved. Looks like she landed against it and when it was taken apart she probably slid down.

Re: Boston Marathon Explosion Pictures & Video
To add to the Jeff Bauman story linked from New York Times previously, the man in the cowboy hat was not just there and helped. His part in the NYT story: http://www.nytimes.com/2013/04/17/us...-son.html?_r=0 "The man in the cowboy hat, Carlos Arredondo, 52, had been handing out American flags to runners when the first explosion went off. His son Alexander was a Marine killed in Iraq in 2004, and in the years since he has handed out the flags as a tribute. " At about 3:07, he is one of the people on video who finished last year's race on the Globe's footage. He finished carrying his son's boots across the line. This year, he was supporting others who were running in his son's name. http://www.boston.com/video/viral_pa...=1565886215001 Jeff's story links to a 2007 story about the man in the Cowboy hat... He had a Wiki page before this because of his activities. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carlos_Arredondo He lost both of his sons but was able to save another. |
