Sad story of poor Anna! Beautiful woman who could have had everything she wanted, but, surrounded herself with assholes with their own greed and not her interest in mind.

They were even too stupid to realize she was worth more alive and did nothing to save her.

I think she was happy when Daniel met his sister, who Anna wanted for a long time, but, it was short lived for her :(

From what i understood, this photo wasn't taken by Howard K. Stern: or maybe it was, but it's not the subject of the controversial:

G. Ben Thompson, a South Carolina developer, testified that Stern took about four pictures of Daniel Smith's body after he died Sept. 10, 2006, while visiting his celebrity mother three days after she gave birth to her daughter in a Bahamian hospital.

also, according to the same article, Stern's attorney Shaka Serville stated that Stern "took the photographs of the young man's body to prove to her that Daniel was indeed dead".

Most of the EXIF seem to be unaltered, notice the date it was taken:

Also the photo went through Photoshop on 2007:03:30 @ 17:06:12 (which is NOT proof at all that it was modified in any part)

Daniel Smith was pronounced dead at 10:05 a.m., while visiting his mother at the maternity ward in Doctors Hospital in Nassau, Bahamas; now, depending on the camera settings, the photo could have been taken 2 hours, one minute after his death, 1 hour, one minute after his death, one minute after his death, 59 minutes BEFORE his death, 1 hour, 59 minutes BEFORE his death and so on. Assuming that EXIF data are correct, of course.
Never seen the photo before, it's heartbreaking anyway.
Regarding the four photos, i guess that they actually exist, since even Stern's attorney Shaka Serville admitted their existence.

Heartbreaking. Almost like those videos of the father who's son had fallen off a balcony by accident and died, and later the father committed suicide. If anyone knows what I'm talking about lol. He was an American boxer in Korea or some shit.
