For those that have seen Jack Talierco's footage he shot in the World Trade Center plaza on 9/11, the man that tries to climb down the East face of the South Tower, but falls to his death anyway landed on this firefighter and killed him. Only the falling man's lower calf and ankle hit Danny Suhr, but at almost 150 mph, it was enough to snap his neck, and cause enough head trauma that an EMT said brain matter was leaking from his nose.

He was hit on the North side of Liberty Street just a few feet from the Southeast corner of the South Tower, but the other firefighters pulled him across to the South side of the street under some scaffolding so they wouldn't be hit by anymore debris or falling bodies.
