2011 Norway Attacks - Anders Behring Breivik
On July 22, 2011, Norway experienced one of the deadliest attacks in its history, perpetrated by Anders Behring Breivik, a Norwegian far-right extremist. The attacks in Oslo and on the island of Utøya resulted in the deaths of 77 people, many of them teenagers, and injured over 300 others. The first attack was a car bomb explosion in Oslo, near the office of Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg and other government buildings. The explosion killed eight people and caused significant damage to the surroundings. Just hours after the bombing in Oslo, Breivik, dressed as a police officer, traveled to the island of Utøya, where the Workers' Youth League (AUF), affiliated with Norway’s Labour Party, was holding a summer camp. On Utøya, Breivik carried out a mass shooting, targeting the camp attendees. He roamed the island, shooting at the participants, resulting in the deaths of 69 people, most of whom were teenagers. The massacre on Utøya lasted for approximately one hour before Breivik surrendered to the police. Breivik's actions were motivated by his extreme right-wing ideology and opposition to multiculturalism and the Muslim immigration in Europe. He had written a manifesto expressing his radical beliefs, which he emailed to thousands of recipients just hours before the attacks. In August 2012, Anders Behring Breivik was convicted of mass murder, causing a fatal explosion, and terrorism. He was sentenced to 21 years of preventive detention, a special form of a prison sentence that can be extended indefinitely, with a minimum time of 10 years, the maximum penalty under Norwegian law. |

Yeah, at least it was only a bunch of pc liberals that he took out, could be worse I wonder if this had much impact on moo slum immigration to Norway? I suppose random attacks on moo slum migrants might send a clearer message |

Some, minimal I guess. They're not taking in as much immigrants as we in bordering states does. And apparently Norwegian police found cell phones from these who got to Norway pictures of beheadings, dead children and other gore. Makes u wonder.. |
