As dawn broke in Brazil, thrill seekers Ludovic Woerth and Jokke Sommer jumped from microlight aircraft over Rio de Janeiro.
The pair, who filmed the flight with cameras on their helmets, can be seen soaring over the sleeping city wearing aerodynamic wingsuits.
As they near the ground, the daredevils come terrifyingly close to buildings as they zip between skyscrapers at high speed before finally deploying their parachutes and landing in front of the pyramid shaped St Sebastian Cathedral in central Rio.
In a statement, the pair said they did not have permission to fly into the city but decided to make the jump at 5.45am to avoid any commercial air traffic which began at 6.05am.
The video of their jump has become an online hit with over 500,000 views since Friday.
