Scissor Flying Knee During Kick Boxing Event to K.o Opponent
Miloš Cvjetićanin is a Serbian powerhouse born and raised in Novi Sad, Serbia. He is a multiple-time Serbian national champion. Mory Kromah holds dual Guinean-Dutch nationality and reigning GLORY Heavyweight World Champion and during the build-up press conference before the GLORY media even last year he climbed up and sat squarely on top of the press conference table. Dangling his legs over the edge, he looked down at his heavyweight rivals with total disregard. Miloš targeted Kromah's arrogance and fighting style directly during the media build-up by saying "I think my opponent is acting fake. I'm tired of my opponent's trash talking." Miloš argued that Kromah relies entirely on chaos rather than skill, claiming he was the far superior and more disciplined martial artist. "The reason you didn't make it to the Heavyweight Grand Prix final is because of your reckless fighting style. I'm the smarter fighter." "In all aspects, I'm better than him. I'm faster, I'm stronger, and I'm more technical." Milos, despite being highly technical for the first two rounds, Kromah's "reckless style" caught up to him. Milos was consistently trying to tie Kromah up, grab his waist and lean on him to shut down his power. Kromah got incredibly frustrated. The referee stopped the action, separated them, and gave Milos a final, stern warning, stating that if he kept holding and pulling down on the neck/waist, he would face immediate disqualification. While the referee was chewing out Milos, Mory Kromah was shouting over the referee at Milos, basically telling him to stop running, stop holding and actually stand up to fight. Because Milos was strictly warned that he could no longer hold, he had to let go and keep his distance when the action resumed. That lack of holding is exactly what allowed Kromah to instantly fly forward and land the fight-ending scissor knee. |
