25 years ago I erected steel buildings for a living. Working 50ft off the ground with no safety ropes and then the actual beam you walk across is only 6 inches wide got some getting used to. Now 25 yrs later 50ft feel like 500" The 6in beam feels like 2in. I FUCKING hate heights now. Seeing someone fall from the height doesn't end well. |

funny how that works..... in 1986 when i was 13 or so i went skateboarding with a mate along the perimeter wall of a 32 storey building, in a storm!! i don't do heights anymore and even thinking about that day has made my palms sweaty and my gut churn |
