Wow. The 'just bleed' Gods we're happy. Lawyer/Rory was one of the best fight I have ever seen. The main event was a good watch too. Glad to see respect shown at the end. I have to agree. I only watched the main card and WTF can you say? Im not a fan of dana or zuffa especially of late and don't support the rebok deal but this card was a gift to them. Im not sure I even want to re-watch it but MacDonald/Lawler was one of the best fights I have ever seen. Considering that this event was the first in what is a 'rebranding' of the UFC the fighters produced, as you said, one of the best events in combat sports. If all the talk of ufc fighters getting undisclosed bonuses is true then every fighter on the bill needs to be handsomely rewarded. the non-mma fans who would have bought this will be blown away. Sick subs, flying knees and as Nick diaz would put it 'spinning shit'. The mat looked like it had literally rained blood over it. |

Mc Donald vs Lawler was so epic! I love both of them, sad for Rory, it has to be hard to give up because of the pain, bad ass dudes, both of them are badly injured. Mc Gregor earned that belt, tough to say because I hate his behavior outside of the octagon (and I am a Diaz fan) but Inside have to give him my respect... |

And yes agree too, the whole event was awsome.... Am I alone to dislike the new shorts thing? Do a fighter is still allowed to wear his own signature short? |

On paper it looks like McGregor took care of Mendez early, it wasn't one-sided, he got battered, great momentum swings throughout the whole card |

If he lasted to the second he would have taken both rounds clearly. McGregors low hands might cost him if he move up weights but he can clearly take a shot or three |

Total agree, I think he's not in the right weighclass, that's why I don't like his trashtalking, easy competition for him actually, but when he will face a guy who can take his punches, situation will not be the same.... Franky edgar could make it, he tough and fast, his werstling his effective. Or maybe someone who's got a better reach advantage. |
