I don't really like either of them, used to be a Diaz fan, the fight with GSP really opened my eyes to what an actor he is, this fight shouldn't have been the main event.
I would like to see GSP/Silva.

LAS VEGAS -- Former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva, widely considered the greatest fighter of all time, has tested positive for anabolic steroids.

The UFC announced Tuesday that Silva, 39, had tested positive for the steroid drostanolone during a random out-of-competition test administered by the Nevada State Athletic Commission on Jan. 9. NSAC chairman Francisco Aguilar confirmed the positive test to ESPN.com.

Additionally, Aguilar informed ESPN.com that Diaz (26-10) tested positive for marijuana metabolites during a postfight drug test. Aguilar said exact results were unavailable but confirmed Diaz's results were above the allowable limit of 150 ng/ML.

Doesn't surprise me at all. Anderson is an old school fighter from Pride FC, a Japanese promotion where everyone used PED's. There was no testing in Pride and anabolic steroids were highly recommended by the organization.

They are the same delusional group of retards. Sooner of later you're just going to have to let go of the past and realize the ufc is the premiere mma organization.

The UFC has a strict, consistent policy against the use of any illegal and/or performance enhancing drugs, stimulants or masking agents by its athletes, Pride did not. In fact they encouraged their fighters to take them. Add the fact that most of their fights were staged and all those freak show events. Yeah Resist that homeboy.

Let’s just get it out there and talk about the shady aspects of the Pride FC organization. We’ve already talked about steroids in Pride fighting. But there are other, more serious shady aspects about Pride that resulted in the collapse of the organization and changed the history of MMA.

Pride fighters themselves had come out saying the pride fc was fixed.

I've trained under a mixed martial artist who fought in pride and was a ufc champion who says the same thing.

Rampage Jackson, has bad memories on pride (two weeks notice for fights, lack of medical attention). He also credits the UFC for taking good care of its fighters medically.

So you had fixed fights, fighters given short notice for fights, freak show fights, and lets not forget the organization was heavily influenced/borderline owned by the Japanese mafia.


Pride no longer exists. It's gone and if seriously think the UFC has become a laughing stock then go away just like your pride fighting championship. Stop ruining it for the people who enjoy mixed martial arts.

I enjoy MMA that does not mean I will pretend the UFC is not a laughing stock at the moment. Fighters and journos who have been reporting on MMA from the start have also done the same. I posted news with regard to two failed drug tests and you, for the sole reason that you know I was a pride fan (also watched the UFC at the same time), chuck the usual anti pride comments about. Im supprised you didnt bring up boxing. You can be a MMA fan and not be willing to march to hell defending a company. Pride has been gone for nearly 10 years, you really should get over it

That's about the stupidest thing I've heard from you. You like MMA but you despise the UFC. That's like me saying you love football but hate the NFL.

It's fucking pathetic to deflect Anderson Silva's failed ped test to fighters that never pissed hot like George St. Pierre or Jon Jones. GSP passed the tests of VADA, the best doping agency on the planet. All his tests are public yet you have the presumption to come in here and say he's juicing. Again fucking pathetic.

The UFC has massive fights coming up in 2015; Jose Aldo vs. Conor McGregor, Jon Jones vs. Anthony Jonson, Cain Velasquez vs. Fabricio Werdrum, Ronda Rousey vs. vs. Cat Zingano /Holly Holm/Cris Cyborg plus many more yet you come in here and make stupid comments like the ufc is a laughing stock.
