Re: DR's Official MMA Thread
I didn't get a chance to watch the fights last night. From what I've heard, bald bozo was bashing the fighters at the post fight press again. Can someone confirm this? If true I will never pay for a ppv event until he steps aside or leaves office. You heard it here first.

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread
Haven't watched the post fight presser yet... all but two of the fights went to a decision, which is obviously kinda boring. Makedessi vs Pat-reek was a BS decision. Trujillo/Varner was badass though. |

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread
I don't mind Dana, I don't know know all the inside workings but to me he comes across as someone who wants to satisfy the fans, he's from way back and is the familiar face of the UFC, along with Joe and Mike, it would be like Survivor without Jeff Probst (haha). It's a balance of old names and newbies, old names with a good last shot is what people want to see, old names who keep coming back and getting thumped is tired. Frank Mir Dan Henderson don't come back. |

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread
So a guy who is fringe-top ten, coming off a lackluster win against a lower-ranked guy deserves a rematch with a guy that KO'ed him and is in a #1 contender's fight? And I'm on Werdum's nuts... |

Yet Roidereem subsequently gasses, then gets KO'ed by the guy spamming the front kick button. Coulda, shoulda, didn't. |

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread
Agree 100%. He is getting worse and worse and IMO is holding back the sports growth. He is as embarrassing as those "I'm 13 years old and pregnant" real life tv shows. I was never a big fan of GSP but watching some fat prick who's training never went passed a few boxercise classes belittle him publicly was a disgrace. The twat does it every week.

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread
"Lesnar returned to defeat the Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion Shane Carwin at UFC 116. Lesnar lost the Heavyweight belt against Cain Velasquez at UFC 121. He was once again stricken with a bout of diverticulitis in May 2011 and had surgery to try to cope with the ailment. On May 7, 2013, Carwin announced his retirement from MMA after enduring several injuries since his last fight on June 11, 2011. Lesnar returned at UFC 141 in December 2011, where he lost to Alistair Overeem and promptly retired from the UFC." |
