The only way I see Nick taking this fight if he pulls off a quick submission off his back. GSP was working extensively with Roach and guys from Tiger Muay Thai in his camp. IMO gsp keep this fight standing.

Nick on the other hand better show up to the presser today.

He's so cool he may not even show up to the weigh-in.

Illusion, no way in hell GSP keeps this standing, no way. I think Im going to miss this event and have to DL the next day

I sincerely think that two of the best welterweight on the planet who are both in their primes are going to scrap on Saturday and it's a shame that you're going to miss it live.

Who you guys got between Hendricks Condit? These guys are getting overshadowed a bit by the main event but this is going to be war.

GSP vs Diaz "two of the best WWs"? You keep falling further down in my ranks of what you know about MMA with moronic statements like that.

Either way, it's looking like Cruz will get stripped of his title soon, and have to work his way back up (even though it'd be a warm-up fight, then title fight at most).

This is how I imagine the fight will play out. GSP comes out stands for a bit with Diaz. He throws jabs and some leg kicks. Goes in and out making sure to keep out of Diaz's punching distance. Then when GSP feels like it he goes for a takedown. Works the elbows and tries to pass guard all while stuffing sub attempts from Diaz. Finishes out round on top. Rinse and repeat for five rounds.

Diaz might also get cut up in one of those rounds from a GSP elbow.

Diaz will also be taunting and flipping the bird while on his back. We might actually get inside cage audio of Diaz talking smack to GSP. Maybe here a "bitch" or a "mother fucker".

one thing for sure, dana does not want nick as the champ, paloms may have been crossed. Diaz will have to work very very hard to take a decision

Diaz won't win a decision period. GSP won't stand in front him like BJ did and get battered. Diaz won't win on damage if he beats GSP up from the bottom either, look no further than the after pics from the Condit fight.

If it goes to the judges with GSP on top after repeated takedowns it means Diaz deserves to lose. If Diaz is on his back for 5 rounds and doesn't get a submission or can't figure out a way to get up or to keep it standing and out strike GSP and loses on the cards it's his own damn fault. Nick and his people have to know this going in, he'll just have to figure out how to deal with that.

Again, War fucking Diaz!
