I was surprised that Stann was the one that got knocked out but I wasn't surprised he stood and traded with Wanderlei. Stann said in every interview leading up to the fight that he would go toe to toe with Wanderlei because he is a legend and he respects him. Brian Stann is someone I take for their word. It sucks for him to get knocked out but in the end he gained more from that fight than his win/loss record will show. The Japanese will love that guy for life win, lose or draw and they will follow/watch his fights now. I would bet my life he is on the next card in Japan and he will have the crowd behind him. 3/16 is creeping up quickly, you ready? |

I have prior arrangements so I will not be making my annual trip to Montreal this time around. However I have a booth reserved at the biggest sports bar in North America, Real Sports Bar grill right next to the ACC.    |
