happy new year guys  a poster on another site made this thought it amusing as for silva, well I have never really liked the guy but I do have a fuckton of respect for him and I will begrudgingly accept that he is up there with the greats of MMA but 10 fights!! if we forget about injurys and such thats at least 3 and a half years. Now if we get boxing style super fights fair enough but TBH I can't get excited about 3 or 4 years of the same. I could think or 4 or maybe 5 fights I'd like to see but beyond that nothing. Its probably because I dont follow MMA as much as I used to so I dont know if there are any great up and comers at MW out there. |

Fair enough. Everyone has an opinion and I respect yours even though it may be a bit biased. So let me tell you something you already know, Silva is undefeated in the UFC. He holds notable victories over former MMA champions Carlos Newton, Hayato Sakurai, Rich Franklin (x2), Forrest Griffin, Vitor Belfort, Nate Marquardt and Chris Leben. Silva also raped Dan Henderson for the unified UFC/Pride middleweight championship. So not only is he the UFC middleweight champ, he's also, you guessed it, the PRIDE middleweight champion. Majority of the mma community gives Silva his props as the p4p numero uno. There is really no argument here. |

I admit I am biased in this regard. Forgot about his ko of Newton, I'm bitter all over again!! Lol. Unfortunately I have to admit that there is a extremely strong case for him to be regarded as p4p greatest as the present time. On another note. Once I was a champion was shown in the states on the 28th but I can't find a download anywhere, any of you guys managed to find it? |
