Vid shows female Turkish skydiver descending in Roldanillo, Valle del Cauca, Columbia, and slipping out of her harness. She does not survive the fall, which is not seen in the video.

Not sure what happened. Equipment failure or rigging error most likely.

There is a chest strap that holds the two sides together in the middle. If that strap is not secured correctly you can slip out falling forwards. It’s a crucial point that if not addressed properly will do this very thing.

not Turkish but Polish. Paulina Pala Biskup, 38, fell into the abyss known as the La Aguapanela canyon. She was not an official participant in the event, but nevertheless decided to jump with her group of friends. Biskup shared content related to her passion for paragliding. She belonged to an acrobatics group and had attended a forum on the extreme sport she loved so much. She was a bright international student.
