The eighth and final stop on the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series took place against the stunning caves of Krabi in Thailand.
The competition consisted of eight dives at four different locations - with Artem Silchenko propelling himself into first place by the final dive site.
The Russian needed to capture first or second place in Thailand to thwart Britain's Gary Hunt and take the overall title.
Ten time world champion Orlando Duque of Colombia claimed third place with a well executed reverse double somersault with 4 twists from his final dive.
Steven LoBue of the US was in last place following the first dive, but clawed his way back into contention and finished second with some consistent performances.
LoBue executed a triple somersault with three twists on his final attempt to ensure the runners up spot.
But there was no stopping Artem Silchenko, who managed an almost perfect back armstand dive with blind entry.
The Russian was rewarded with two tens from the judges to ensure the stage victory - and overall title - was his.
