UAP Reports at Sandia Base, New Mexico, 1948-1950
This PDF contains 116 pages of documentation from the Armed Forces Special Weapons Program, described as the direct post-World War II successor to the Manhattan Project, and from the U.S. Air Force. The file covers a series of sightings and investigations around Sandia Base in New Mexico from 1948 to 1950. The documents list 209 sightings of "green orbs," "discs," and "fireballs" near the military base. Witnesses reported UAP maneuvering, flying out of sight, disappearing, or exploding. The file also includes contemporary investigations into residual copper powder found in some areas where sightings were reported, and notes that a few of these investigations became the basis for Project Grudge.
