UAP Infrared Video, East China Sea, 2024

This infrared footage from the East China Sea was submitted to AARO by United States Indo-Pacific Command as part of an unresolved UAP report. It was recorded in 2024 by an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform.

The source says the reporter provided no oral or written description of the observation, and the released file is redacted.

What the sensor shows, as described in the release:

00:00-00:09: The sensor focuses on an area of contrast that resembles a football-shaped body with three radial projections: one oriented vertically, and two oriented downward at a 45-degree angle relative to the major axis of the main mass.
Declassified by the Department of War under the PURSUE UAP records release (tranche of 5/8/26).
Agency: Department of War
Incident: East China Sea
Document ID: DOW-UAP-PR046
This release is redacted.
