In the last 2 second you can hear 2 times the call 'hilfe', which means help me. This neighbour turned out to be saved... But I don't know about the person in yellow shirt in the last window of the house collapsing.  It could have been you.  |

Do you see the top height of the tunnels in the middle of the picture? That was the maximum water level. The fire rescue departement right on the other side of these tunnels couldn't even evacuate anymore to give support. But the bridges on the other side, for the 2 leftside tunnels, build in 1936-1938, are still standing. They must have remembered 1910. Praise those architects! |
