This infrared video from a U.S. military platform was submitted to AARO by United States Northern Command as an unresolved UAP report. The sighting was in the Gulf of Oman in 2024, with the source title identifying the case as United Arab Emirates, June 2024.

An accompanying mission report described the UAP as an object with a vertical pole or bar attached to its bottom. The observer also reported that it may instead be a reflection from an object in the water. The file made public is redacted.

00:00-00:21: An area of contrast visually resembling an inverted teardrop with a vertically linear trailing mass suspended below remains generally within the center of the sensor field-of-view throughout the video.
