This Chicago FBI file documents surveillance of Albert C. Tocco in Chicago Heights and nearby south suburban Illinois locations during February and March 1982. A March 11 memorandum says agents were asked to monitor Tocco and photograph people meeting him in connection with reported monthly chop-shop payoffs and weekly 'street tax' collections tied to prostitution, gambling, and vending operations. The released records include FD-302 surveillance reports, spot-check logs, vehicle-registration inquiries, and observations at Tocco's residence, E-Z Snacks, restaurants, and other businesses. Agents recorded Tocco's movements, unidentified visitors and vehicles, and a February 17 pickup of an individual believed to be Alfred Pilotto.
