FBI Records on the 2025 Jeffrey Epstein Holdings Review
Jeffrey Epstein was the subject of federal sex trafficking and related investigations, and these records concern a 2025 FBI review of the Bureau's Epstein holdings for delivery to DOJ and possible public release. The OCR shows internal FBI emails among IMD, OGC, CID, NYFO, and other units drafting production letters, information memoranda for Attorney General Bondi and DOJ leadership, coding charts, comparison charts, dashboards, and timelines. The records describe searches of Sentinel, Guardian, ACS, CRS, manual index cards, squad spaces, hard drives, Evidence Control, ELSUR, CART, and contacts with Miami, Palm Beach, SDNY, and SDFL. They also list deliveries in February through May 2025, including redacted and sealed sets, hard drives and thumb drives, evidence summaries, residential search warrant photographs, 1A and 1B media, ELSUR items, and redaction guidance for victims, witnesses, law enforcement, prosecutors, and grand jury material. Some messages address handling of CSAM, "child erotica", pornography, and "salacious images" from Epstein-related evidence, with many substantive passages withheld under FOIA exemptions.
