FBI File on Vincent Gigante

This file concerns Vincent Gigante, known as "Chin," and the FBI's anti-racketeering and organized-crime investigations of him. A June 1959 New York office memorandum says the Attorney General's Special Group sought information on Gigante and recommended opening a pending "Top Hoodlum" case. The released records also include 1985 routing material referring to ongoing Title III coverage and a RICO matter, with copies sent to several FBI field offices. A 1992 surveillance report describes Gigante's movements between Brooklyn medical offices and 505 LaGuardia Place, Apartment 7E, and records observations involving Yolanda Gigante and Dominic Cirillo.
