FBI File on Salvatore Sabella and Cosa Nostra

This FBI file concerns Salvatore Sabella, also rendered in the records as Salvatore Sabelli, in the Bureau's organized-crime and Cosa Nostra investigations. A February 17, 1964 memorandum says information indicated that Sabelli was a Cosa Nostra member and directed that a 92 dead file be opened on him. The release includes photograph-routing and identification sheets, a large distribution list linking the matter to other Philadelphia and New Jersey organized-crime files, and an informant report dated February 10, 1964 that identified Sabelli among persons known to be in the organization.
