FBI File on Richard Cain

Richard Cain was a Chicago organized-crime figure and former police officer whose killing drew law-enforcement attention. The released material is heavily redacted and includes deleted-page notices for 18 pages, along with FBI polygraph paperwork, an advice-of-rights form, and a consent-to-interview-with-polygraph form. A surviving enclosure references a March 9, 1978 letter to the Chicago office and a November 1, 1977 Chicago communication, showing that the file included follow-up investigative processing during 1977 and 1978.
