FBI File on Operation Greylord Court Corruption Investigation
Operation Greylord was an FBI-led public-corruption investigation of alleged bribery, case fixing, extortion, and fraud in the Cook County Circuit Court system in Illinois. The released records include March and April 1987 FBI memoranda and lead summaries describing the undercover operation, its prosecutions, and a set of 98 related lead memoranda sent to FBI headquarters and the Public Corruption Unit.
