FBI File on Operation Donnie Brasco

Operation Donnie Brasco was the FBI's undercover organized-crime investigation, associated with agent Joseph Pistone's infiltration of Mafia circles. The released records include Brooklyn-Queens teletype traffic under the GENUS-GREENPOINT RICO caption, administrative instructions, and requests to continue use of a Nagra body recorder and telephone-recording equipment in 1981. A July 1982 message concerns trial preparation and a conference in New York requested by Assistant U.S. Attorney Louis Freeh. An August 1982 message reports jury verdicts involving Benjamin 'Lefty' Ruggiero, Nicholas Santora, Antonio 'Boots' Tomasulo, John 'Boobie' Cerasani, and Anthony 'Mr. Fish' Rabito.
