The 1964 records include airtels, teletypes, interviews, requests to locate associates, telephone-toll inquiries, and references to a federal grand jury in the Southern District of New York. Later 1977 Phoenix records concern a RICO investigation of Joseph Charles Bonanno and others, including proposed Title III electronic surveillance and coordination with the Justice Department. The release also contains heavily redacted source-identification material and deleted-page notices.
