FBI File on the Dunbar Armored Depot Robbery

This file concerns the 1997 robbery at Dunbar Armored's Los Angeles depot, investigated by the FBI as a major armored-car and cash-vault theft. The released records include September 1997 FD-302 witness interviews with Dunbar employees about their work shifts, departures from the Mateo Street facility, and whether they saw suspicious activity before the robbery. They also contain FBI property inventories documenting a VHS tape, checks, money orders, credit cards, jewelry, a damaged footlocker recovered from an alley, and other items seized or recovered during the later investigation. The underlying records span 1997 to 2000, while some evidence-custody entries show later repackaging and storage updates.
