This file concerns the FBI's 1990 investigation of Charles Keating and issues surrounding American Continental Corporation and Lincoln Savings and Loan Association. The released material includes FD-302 witness interview reports and a large deleted-page information sheet identifying numerous pages withheld under privacy and law-enforcement exemptions. One interview records a former American Continental employee, then working for Senator John McCain, describing her employment history and her recollections of meetings between McCain and Federal Home Loan Bank Board regulators in April 1987. The records show FBI agents documenting witness accounts of Keating's contacts with McCain's office and regulatory matters involving Lincoln Savings.
