Apollo 16 Scientific Debriefing by Principal Investigators

This is a set of Apollo 16 scientific debriefing recordings made in Houston. Principal investigators for several Apollo experiments present preliminary results from Apollo 16 for the Apollo crews, with the aim of helping prepare for Apollo 17.

They discuss what their experiments had found so far and note anomalies, including a flash that had not yet been reported. One offhand comment comes during a discussion of correlations between experimental data sets.

From part 1, at 27:02:

And I was watching stars pop up. Over the horizon. And uh got this flash which was In size was about I didn't, I didn't, I wasn't looking directly at it at the time it happened happening down in the side of my vision. But it was brighter than the than the brightest star that I had in the field of view at the time.
From part 2, at 32:21:

It correlates pretty well with the laser data which shows a great big hole here in the backside of the moon around Fendi graph. That's where we get our big hole, but I can't see any scientific justification for connecting the two results. I will add the gamma rays secondary peak is also. I don't know what it means. It could be an alien star base or something.
