This PDF is a NASA excerpt from the Apollo 11 Technical Crew Debriefing, Volumes 1 and 2, dated July 31, 1969. It highlights three observations from the mission: an object seen on the way to the Moon, flashes of light inside the cabin, and a bright light seen on the return trip.

Buzz Aldrin described the first object as having "a sizeable dimension to it," and the crew speculated that it could have been the S-IVB stage of the Saturn V launch vehicle. Aldrin also reported "little flashes inside the cabin" while trying to sleep with the lights out. In Volume 2, he said he observed "a fairly bright light source" that the crew "tentatively ascribed to a possible laser."
