The third page down, it states a woman gave birth to a dead child but a live serpent had gnawed the fetus to death. I find several problems with that. 1. Don't know of any snakes that totally can survive in amniotic fluid (much less how did it enter the amniotic sack) without air. 2. I've never heard of a snake bite off pieces of anything other than swallow something whole. Cool book though I'd love to have it. |
