I don't understand what you mean by oxidizing atmosphere? If you mean changing the levels needed of both fuel and oxygen to reach a level of combustion then that could only be done by adding another substance. |

I think the proposal that the fuel tank had to be reinforced kinda spells out how silly this concept is... Awfully hard to get vapors out of a tank with lower than atmospheric pressure. I thought that seemed kind of obvious. Also, worth noting, it takes a TON of energy to heat up a liquid, and early on there was mention of heating up the gas tank. That energy has to come from somewhere. In this case, it would need to borrow energy from the engine, reducing fuel economy. Just sayin' I want to read through the technical stuff, no time right now. |
