My first jobs out of high school was a security guard heh. One place I was assigned to was a older rundown community hospital in the hood probably built in the 50's. Had everything, morgue, pysch ward, haunted areas, and places where rapes and assaults occured. I remember having to foot patrol the bottom underground floor with the morgue, very dark and creepy down there, felt half the time like someone or thing was watching me. Then I would make a pass upstairs into a containment area that had the mental patients. Sad, those people were put in there by their families. I remember my first day, they said get rid of your boots and get some running shoes just in case one of the patients tries to escape you have to catch them. |
