The photos in this compilation, with open eyes are not deceased. And closed eyes don't always mean dead. MANY photos out there labeled post mortem because eyes are closed, are not pm. If a child is in a parent's lap, more often than not, child is sleeping. In early days of photography, due to exposure times, it was easier to photograph small children as they slept.

Thank you, yes I understand that however the photos were still sad regardless. I used to be a mortician so saw eyes in many varying states.
