The dead guy in the picture is Peter Fechter. Here's a pic of his body being carried away, while West-German soldiers throw some bandages at him. Also a picture of him alive.
The other pic is a plaque which reads:At this spot a German was shot because he was trying to find a way to freedom.
The very famous pic of the East-German soldier Conrad Schumann who was assigned to shoot people trying to cross the line, crossing it himself.
And last but not least a place where the dead are being remembered.
