While this escape ended with 5 convicts (3 listed above during the escape, 2 more in the gas chamber at San Quentin) and 2 gaurds dead, and dozens injured it was in my opinion the most spectacular escape of all time

Years of planning, the already skinny Coy dieting for over a year so he could slip through the gun cage bars while covered in axle grease

As soon as the convicts got to the weapons stash in the gun cage all hell broke loose
