Lieutenant Rode, commander of 136th battalion (Norwegian Groupe) orders to kill 2 soviet soldiers that fiercfully protected highland by killing 16 germans, which was more that his company lost during whole Polish company.... Pictures were taking before and after the killing. Took 70 years until someone from locals saw this pictures and new exactly where this took place. So they gather a small group of people to find the soldiers and they did! Luckily, one of the soldiers had his army badge in a good condition. His last name was Korolkov. Eventually, guys found his 70+ daughter and his grand kids. He can RIP now, the other soldier remains unknown.. Last picture is his daughter at his funeral, 70 years later she finally knows what happened and has a chance to say goodbye. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() https://cdnimg.rg.ru/i/gallery/d49992e2/1_c09bf59f.jpg ![]() |
