Some B&Ws =)
Pic#1 - A U.S. Army Signal Corps photographer recorded this 1944 execution of a Frenchman who made the mistake of collaborating with the Germans. Pic#2 - With U.S. forces closing in on Leipzig in 1945, this German general committed suicide as he grasped a portrait of Adolf Hitler (notice that Der Fuhrer's mug got perforated by the chair as the Nazi toppled to the floor). Pic#3 - This German politician and his family also opted to check out before Uncle Sam arrived in Leipzig. Pic#4 - Juarez, Mexico in 1916: Another one bites the dust. |
