Re: Skeleton Of Atomic Bomb Victim
i read a very good book on this once, where the people that witnessed the bomb told their stories. they said the blast knocked down their wooden homes that were basically made of matchsticks, and they had fire pits in their houses which caused the whole town to catch fire people that were hurt in the blast or were trapped burned to death. people right in the blast zone had skin melted off. there was one story where there were guys working in a ditch within a mile of the blast, some hid but the ones who looked at the blast and got hit by the radiation rays died shortly after, the ones who were hiding and did not get the rays lived.
