Russian Famine of 1920's *Child Warning*
Found these pictures of the Russian famine. I'm not going to pretend to know a massive amount but thought they were really interesting and some are haunting. First picture is a family selling dead relatives for meat! Cannibilism was apparent at this time. With exception of the last couple, I don't know much about the photos. Lenin forbid any aid for the starving peasants. Let them die he once said but after 2 years or so he finally let american and european aid organisations inside that saved a lot of starving people, esp children. last two are of the ukrain famine in the early 30's  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holodomor |

These are heartbreaking, but so very important historically. My grandchildren may not even learn about these atrocities with the lean to be politically correct.

Great post, my friend. Some may think this was a political issue. We had plenty of people starve in the US during the 1920’s. Truly terrible times.
