Re: "The Road"? No, Russia in 1920.
Don't worry, I know story very well but maybe I speak english less well than you... Is it hard to understand me? Czechoslovakia was founded in 1918, one year after revolution of 1917, but I was speaking about civil war (1917-1922). This young country at the time helped the White Army. This photos are from 1920 and you talk about "Holodomor", famine in Ukraine 10 years later! It isn't the same thing! Thank you all! Merci à tous! |

Re: "The Road"? No, Russia in 1920.
Albert Fish!!!! I remember reading that He claims that while overseas (I think) he had his first taste of human flesh. It was possibly in asia where they were selling children for meat during a particularly harsh drought. I may be wrong, but I do remember reading that somewhere. edit: My mistake... it wasn't Albert Fish himself... but a friend of his. Here's a quote from the letter he sent to the family of one of his victims. If you want the whole letter (which is absolutely knarly) you can find it on Albert's wiki page. And for your enjoyment... or disguist... here are some choice parts of the letter. |
