The REAL Mummy
Mummified body found in a gravel pit at 56th St and South Park Ave in Chicago on Oct. 29, 1903. The body or mummy was found wrapped in a piece of carpet and placed within a long box. There also was speculation that the dead person was a murder victim although no identity was found.
