Re: Progeria

Such a fucked up and cruel disease. I will never forget in second grade seeing a girl with progeria. There was a 'special kids' class and a girl had it and died at age 4 or 5 that year, I can still remember her walking down the hall way on Halloween. So insane how one can die of old age before preschool.

Re: Progeria

I think there was a girl who had it who live to age 21, which was the oldest person with the disease on record.

Re: Progeria

We had a little boy who lived in our community and they did a documentary on him on TLC, he passed away 2 years ago and our whole town was saddened when it happened.

Re: Progeria

Poor kids....they die of old age, basically, die of diseases that we normally only attribute to the elderly...strokes, heart attacks, hardened arteries.....
