Great shots-but the one labeled "Polish-Jewish Resistance Fighters" is actually a group of partisans from the Vilna Ghetto in Lithuania, commanded by Abba Kovner and Vitka Kempner. Abba was famed for his impassioned "Let us not be led like lambs to the slaughter" call to arms. Came too late...96% of the Jews in Lithuania were murdered...most of them by their own countrymen.  |
