Re: Pet Funeral

Sad yet beautiful find. I appreciate people who treat their pets with respect even after their death

Re: Pet Funeral

My mortuary professor talked about doing a horse funeral once. Hey if people have the money... it's only business

Re: Pet Funeral

I see no harm in it, heck they are a part of the family after all.

Re: Pet Funeral

I once had to euthanise a fifteen year old Alaskan Husky, in front of forty weeping people, upon a silk-covered dias, as part of the funeral for the patient. No pressure...

Re: Pet Funeral

Got my gorgeous little white persian cat Gia (who we nicknamed the Assassin because she was a little spitfire hellcat) buried under a tree in our garden. I wouldn't go so far as the people in the pic did, but I get why some people do. They are definitely part of your family and in some instances you care more about your pets than your real family, who can be pests!

Re: Pet Funeral

this is beautiful. i lost two of my doggies, one on easter sunday and another on wednesday. it may seem weird, but i'm having my min pin freeze dried. i cremated my amstaff. I had my min pin 15 years. so many memories and the one i can't get out of my mind is seeing him take his final breath, staring at me...

Re: Pet Funeral

FFS, was the dog royalty? I loved my spaniel Haggis like she was one of the family but even I didn't go THAT far. Oh well, takes all types. The dog was well-loved

Re: Pet Funeral

This is the most disturbing photo on this site. Who would give a dog an open casket funeral?
