This Small Arms Survey photo exhibition focuses on gun violence in cities around the world.

Beautiful photographs!

My favourite is the little girl with her pet pigeon and a handgun beside her.

This is the story behind it: Three-year-old Esperanza named her lame pet pigeon after her wheelchair-bound teenage uncle. He was shot by a rival gang member in a drive-by shooting. The handgun belongs to her 15-year-old uncle, who keeps it for self-defence even though he has begun a process of physical and emotional therapy to help him manage his paralysis and desires for revenge. (Los Angeles, 1994)

nice pics sharon esperanza has a co2 powered bb gun the screw with ring is visible on bottom of the pistol grip that is the screw that is tightened once the co2 canister is in place to break the seal on the co2 canister
