Hydrocephalus is excess cerebral fluid on the brain. If anything that baby could have Spina Bifida. Babies born with this disability are born with a lump on their backs. The lump contains the nerve endings to the body below that point. There is also a gap in the spine. I know because I have this disability.

i know a kid that had a bubble like that. He has to have a shunt running from the back of his head around his back to his stomach..

This is neither hydrocephalus nor spina bifida. It is a large encephalocele. Hydrocephalus is accumulation of fluid in the ventricles, and spina bifida is a defect of the lower spine that can cause hydrocephalus. The encephalocele is created when there is a hole in the skull itself, and brain tissue/fluid collects outside of the hole.
